fAiTh!!!
For all you New Lifer's out there who are apart of the Faith series starting in our church...here is some food for thought, just something God spoke simple yet so clear to me during some good o' devoution time I had...
" The Word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,
that is, the Word of FAITH we are proclaiming" -Romans 10:8
This scripture really opened my eyes afresh!!
If we are truly in the Word, and spending time putting the Word in to our mouths, and in our hearts then We have to have faith! Because without the word there is no faith to proclaim! The word is what shows us what to have faith for, and examples of how to have faith! If we truly GRASP the Word for ourselves and believe 100% what God tells us in His Word, then there is no reason that our Faith should not be moving mountains! If we do not have faith or lack in the measure of our faith.... it is simpling because we are not filling ourselves with the Word or because we have not truly received the Word to be real life, breathing upon us!
It's time I kick myself into gear and get into the word deeper than I ever have before! So that I can have a faith to truly do what God needs me to do for His Kingdom, through this temple He has given me to live in here on Eart

Good word, you are absolutely right. God's word is living and active, I find that it always applies to my life even if God leads me to a familar verse, it seems to be fresh and new, for a particular situation I am facing. That it turn stirs my faith, because no other "book" can do that like the word of God. Great blog, love to read your writings.
By the way those comments are very odd, as of yet i have not gotten any.

lynnsy- it is such an encouragement to hear what you had to say about how faith is so important for us! it is so true and simply down right straight forward. I hope you and James are doing better than amazing. God is going to bless you two so much...it'll knock you off your feet!- im looking forward to seeing and reading about what new in your life...and in james...afterall. you two are one...see you....-jamo

AMEN!! sister that was sooo encouraging! i have been saying that verse hebrews 11:1 under my breath every where i walk here at western! (i have a lot of walking time in between classes too!) i agree, i read that wonderful hebrews 12 this morning, I LOVE FAITH!
on another note DUDE I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE PICTURES!! i will be at church this sunday! i am going to want to buy some of those too of course! EEK! I CANT WAIT!
