FELIZ CUMPLEANOS TO ME!!!
So it is my 21st birthday today....well I don't have average 21 year old excitement today...of finally being legally able to drink all the time...It is weird actually to think that I can drink now!!
It is funny how growing up our birthday is such a big deal to us...it is a day that we use to anticipate for like a whole 2 or 3 months....of course it is because we use to have huge parties and lots and lots of presents....then we grow up little by little as we come into the teenage years and it seems as though there are only 4 birthdays that we anticipate...which are the big 16, 17, 18, and 21. When we turn 16 it means freedom...driving!!! When we turn seventeen it means rated R movies and curfew changes on the license!! When we turn eighteen some are excited that they can now vote while some it is now legal to smoke and buy the cigarettes! Then there is the big 21, inwhich you become legal to drink! So all the birthdays in between those are just another year to get us closer to the age that gives us a new freedom! Then every birthday after that doesn't matter unless someone else takes time to make it matter. Birthdays just become a day that makes us another year older which becomes more and more unwanted!
It is sad really how this world has so easily established what a birthday should be about.....
Jesus's birthday was the only one it seems that was for everyone else and not for him really!
His birthday never gets old and is never unwanted.....
Well as I celebrate my 21st birthday, in an unaverage way, I celebrate the life that God gave me to bring glory to His name and to bless others as well! Just as my Jesus did! If there is any ways that I have been able to bless any of you I would love to know...not in any way to glorify myself but celebrate some of the ways that God has been glorifed through this life that He died for!!!!!
I WANT TO MAKE MY BIRTHDAY ABOUT JESUS.......SINCE HE MADE HIS ABOUT ME!!!!!!

hey lyns. just wanted to wish you a fullfilled 21st birthday. im sure you are enjoying yourself emensly. I think the reason why b-days arent so big when your older is because you mature and gain expirience in alot of areas of your life. Whenever i hear someone mention your name. one thing that sticks out to me is your wisdom. you are young like myself but you are wise beyond your years and cherish that. i always love talkin to ya just to hear your opinion on something because its important to not just myself but the people surrounding you. have a awsome time!
