I've Got the Blues For My Lou!!

Today is the day that our precious Lou flies away to start the next season of life that God has for her...I am very excited for her, but I am not gonna lie I am a little blue for my Lou! She is on an air plane as I write...And it feels as though she has already been gone for too long!!!!
And I am sure that I am not the only one who is Blue for Lou!!
So I was thinking about my Lou today and I of course started thinking about all the great memories.....Lou is a great person to be around and to invest your time in! She never lets you down for a good time or a good laugh!! But whats even better than her making us laugh was to hear her Laugh...Lou has one of the best laughs I know of...It is totally her and when you hear it you just know it is her and you can't wait to find where she is at in the room or building!!
Lou is such and encourager and I will miss her always making me feel as tall as the sky! She is one to always make sure that your head is held high...looking into the eyes of Jesus to see the reflection of who Jesus truly sees you as!
As I think upon this time in our lives as a good friend has moved to a new season of life ....it reminds me to think again about the true gift of friendship....and that all of those who we are blessed to have as a friend all come from God. God loans and entrusts us, his children, to one another to be friends with each other while we are here on this Earth doing His Will. And knowing our God and his uncomprehendable plan, it is impossible to know just when he will need his children to go here and there for a new task in his Kingdom...
I of course want the best for the Kingdom of God and for each and everyone of my dearest friends to doing their best for the Kingdom and their lives in Christ...it is hard to think about the fact that you just never know just how much time you have to be with your friends that God has blessed you with!
So to all my friends...I hope that you all know how much I love you and that I am reminded at this time in my life just how blessed I am to have you as a friend and that I can not take a single one of you for granted!!
